Betty Troxtell

Betty Dick Troxtell, age 83 formerly of Dry Branch Road, Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

Betty was born on September 12, 1941 in Delta, Kentucky in Wayne County.

She attended Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. She retired from Palm Beach Sewing Factory. She enjoyed sewing, working in her yard, keeping house, sweeping and ironing. She was a loving wife and took wonderful care of her husband.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George Troxtell, whom she married on December 24, 1966, her mother Edna Dick, her brother Milton Dick, sisters: Lena Mae Brinegar, Lora Keith and Letty New.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11am at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Betty Dick Troxtell.
