Beverly Ann Gill

Apr 21, 1934 — Jul 6, 2026

Beverly Ann (Williams) Gill, age 92, of London, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday morning, July 6, 2026 at Saint Joseph London.

She leaves behind her daughter, Paula Kaye Gill; three grandchildren, Adam (Kyleigh) Webb; William Temple, and Winston (Kate) Benge; five great-grandchildren, Taryn Webb, Elijah Webb, Lyric Ford, Nicholas Webb, and Cameron Webb; dozens of nieces and nephews of the extended Williams family; and a host of other friends and family who mourn her passing and celebrate her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Craft Gill; her parents, Charles Clarence and Mossie Etta Williams; her siblings, Mary Cummins, Charlotte Daughetee, Eleanor Jackson, Bud Williams, Jim Williams, and Bob Williams; and her daughter, Rebecca Gill Morrison.

Beverly was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted herself to her family and to the service of God. Beyond her immediate family, Beverly is beloved as a motherly figure among her broader First Christian Church family, where she had been a member for nearly forty years and where she had served as a leader and advisor in the Church’s women’s groups.

Beverly came proudly from working-class roots in Somerset, Kentucky, and she was the first of her family to attend college, having received a scholarship to study at Transylvania University in the early 1950s. After Transy, she returned to Somerset where she met Earl. The two were soon married and enjoyed a 66-year union until Earl’s passing in 2022.

Beverly was blessed with a long and independent life. She loved the Lord and her family above all else. She loved to travel, as she and Earl did frequently around the globe. She loved to cook, and to tend daily to her garden. She loved to dance, and she was a great dancer. Her loss will be felt throughout the community among the countless people whose lives were touched by her wisdom, warmth, and kindness.
