Carole Bogle

Carole J. Bogle age 91, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on August 24, 2025 at her home.

Carole was born on March 6, 1934 to the late Willard Tarter and Virginia Pierce Coomer in Somerset, Kentucky.

She enjoyed playing the lottery and sewing. She loved tending to her flower garden and was a great cook. She loved her little dog Harley.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Al Jerry Bogle and daughter Sharon McGowan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Glenn Bogle and her daughter Melodie Spears both of Somerset, Ky; sisters: Ann Sears, Kathy Campbell, Rita Davis; grandchildren: Amanda Spears, Courtney Parmley (Jacob), Jeremy Bogle (Becky) all of Somerset, Ky, great grandchildren Lexi Parmley and Jackson Parmley; son-in-law Everette “Duke” McGowan; along with 2 special friends: Cynthia Lindsey and Donna Maxwell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:30am – 1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with speaker Donna Maxwell. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
