Darrell "Danny" Cline

Darrell “Danny” Cline, age 62 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born on September 2, 1963 in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Anna Mae Brown Cline and the late Darrell Cline.

Danny worked at Bluegrass Oakwood for 20 plus years and later retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department. In his youth, he was baptized and became a member of Ferguson Baptist Church and later started attending Ferguson Methodist Church. Danny was an avid hunter, fisherman and a pro picker. He enjoyed collecting antiques and gardening. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Cline; brother, Vertis Dewayne Cline; a niece, Shanna Kleinheitz; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Clara Ping.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Cline; son, Dakota Hunter Cline of Somerset; mother, Anna Mae Cline of Somerset; brother, Jon (Crystal) Owens of Somerset; sister, Sandy (Jerry) Brown of Somerset; niece, Macy (Hunter) Fain and nephews, Dylan Owens and Shawn (Dawn) Kleinheitz.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
