Gary Wayne Conley

Gary W. Conley, age 68 of Somerset, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Gary was born on May 16,1957 at Lancaster, KY, the son of Garnel B. Conley and Lula Jane Starnes Conley. Gary married Wendi Williamson Conley and they shared 49 years of marriage prior to his death. A lifelong resident of Somerset, he was of Baptist faith. He worked as a Manager- Power Delivery Maintenance at East KY Power. Gary loved to play golf, coach sports, outdoor projects, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Wendi Conley; one son, Christopher Conley (Rachel); two daughters, Amber Conley and Aubrey Conley; grandchildren, Kaley Harris, Braelyn Conley, Davis Martin, Kase Martin and Griffin Conley; his brother, Doug Conley; his sister, Vicky Pelston; extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by his passing.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Garnel B. and Lula Jane Conley.

Visitation for Gary will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, June 28th at 2:00 pm at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Pendley officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
