Judy Dalton

Judy Ruth (Frye) Dalton, age 81, of Somerset, Ky, passed from this life on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Jean Waddle Care Center at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Judy was born on October 11, 1944 to the late Waldo and Ruth Frye in Nancy, Ky. She enjoyed singing, playing piano, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She retired from Palm Beach Sewing Company.

Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brothers Joe Frye, Riley Frye, and Paul Frye. Also, her late husband, Gene Dalton.She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son Scott Vito and wife Cynthia of Florida and daughter Amy Vito Epperson and husband Roy Jr. of Nancy, Ky, grandchildren Ashley (Mike) LaPorte, Logan Vito, Nathan Epperson (Leandra) and Matthew Epperson, great-grandchildren: Addy, Leyton, Axel, Dylan, Hannah and Max, brothers: Gary Frye, Bruce Frye, Edsel Frye, Wayneth Frye and one sister Janice (Frye) Rogers; along with lots of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 5pm-8pm in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11am at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
