Lillian Alexander

Lillian R. Alexander, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at the age of 94 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home in Louisville, Kentucky.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Terrell Godsey and Ora Gregory Godsey, her husband Robert “Bob” Alexander, and all 10 of her siblings. She had no children.

She has several nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn her passing. A special thanks to her niece, Cheryl Godsey, who moved her from Somerset to Franklin, Kentucky to take care of her in her 80s until Cheryl passed away, and Lillian had to move closer to another niece, Jackie Godsey Noe of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where she was put in assisted living and later in Wesley Manor nursing home in Louisville, Kentucky.Lillian was a retired seamstress from the Palm Beach company and was a member of East Somerset Baptist Church. Lillian always enjoyed going to church functions and cooking something good to eat.

Visitation will be at Pulaski Funeral Home for family on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation for the public will be from 11:00 to 1:00 with the funeral following at 1:00.

Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens beside her late husband Robert. “Bob” Alexander. If you would like to make a donation, the family asks that you donate to a dementia or Alzheimer’s association.

A funeral service for Lillian Alexander will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
