Ruby Godby

Ruby Marie Godby, age 101, of Cincinnati, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, the Ohio Living Llanfair Nursing Facility, in Cincinnati.
Ruby was born on September 3, 1917, in Somerset, daughter of the late John William and Dora Haines Farmer. She enjoyed sewing, antiques, cooking and homemaking. Ruby loved music and dancing. Always devoted to children, Ruby finished her high school education at age 55, so she could work as a houseparent at Oakwood.
She is survived by her son, John William Godby, of Cincinnati; her nephew and several nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Joseph K. Altman officiating.
