Sandra Ann Massey

Sandra Ann Massey, age 73, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Sandra was born on August 29, 1953 in Russell Springs, KY to the late Robert Lyle Aaron and Rosemary Foley Aaron. She enjoyed her work as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab. Sandra loved her patients and co-workers. She especially loved taking care of people and going to Panama City Beach. Most of all, she cherished her time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond “Nicky” Massey whom she married on September 7, 1976 in Jellico, TN; one son, Nicholas Aaron (Angie) Massey of Somerset; one daughter, Danielle Nicole (Chris) Foley of Somerset; one brother, Richard “Ricky” (Patti) Aaron of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Aiden Rose, Davin Massey (Davin), Kaelyn Conway, Kristin Conway, Jack “Dawson” Conway, Jerica Baugh, Dylan Foley, Christian Foley, Hunter Massey, Jonathan Massey, Shelby Massey and Avery Rose; her great grandchildren, Payslee Perkins, Willow Gover, Alivia Massey, Presley Massey, Luka Foley and Raelynn Baugh; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Mike) Webb, Bobbi Jo (John) Wilson and Barbara Sue (Todd) Hansford; nephew, Josh (Katie Jo) Aaron; niece, Bayle Aaron; and many other family members, friends and neighbors who are saddened by her passing.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond “Nick” Massey and Nancy Massey; and one nephew, Ben Webb.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Fort and Pastor Caleb Holder officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
